Degree Courses

Bachelor or Masters in any of the following or relevant courses: Business Informatics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Physics, Engineering.

Essential

Topic experience

Interest and/or knowledge in minimum one of the following:

  • Banking: retail, SME  or corporate banking, core banking, payments or cards
  • Lending: asset finance, mortgages, commercial lending
  • Embedded finance or insurance
  • Finance: bank finance, credit risk management, insurance finance,
  • Insurance: P&C insurance, life insurance, sales & commission management

Work experience

Any initial experience in consulting or with financial service providers is nice-to-have but not requirements.

Bachelor‘s or Master’s in any of the following and/or relevant courses: Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences. Courses in the area of Object-oriented programming, design patterns, java, .NET, mathematics, databases.

  • Practical programming skills

Hands-on project experience

  • Know-how in at least one programming language e.g Python, Java, C++ or ABAP
  • Experience with database systems, data modelling, data queries using SQL
  • Ideally experience with modern development tools and technologies: Eclipse, VSCode, JSON, REST APIs, front-end frameworks such as React, UI5 etc.

Topic experience

Student research projects, internships in the fields of consulting or product development are a nice-to-have but not requirements.
