The role of a Solution Advisor (also known as a Presales Representative) at SAP Fioneer is exciting and innovative and at the forefront of our customer engagements. SAP Fioneer is focused on the Insurance and Banking Industry. 

Responsibilities of an Insurance Solution Advisor include active participation in: customer facing discovery conversations, solution configuration adhering to the customer’s/prospect’s requirements, value based, and creative product presentations and software demonstrations. Additional responsibilities include RFP completion and coordination of sales team members.


  • Technical Acumen that provides the foundation for Configuring Solution Demonstrations in the area of Finance and Sub-Ledger Accounting
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills to effectively interact with customer line of business users and management personnel
  • Strong Presentation Skills, with the innate ability to position Value Metrics, Customer Stories and Competitive Wedges
  • Strong Innovative and Creative Skills, focusing on Memorable Presentations, including PowerPoint Presentations, Painting the Art of the Possible and Theme Development
  • Self-Starter that can work independently as well as with a team, with a keen eye toward deadlines
  • Collaborative Team Player that drives the ability to build a strong working relationship with both the customer / prospect and the SAP Fioneer team
  • Ability to deliver memorable solution presentations remotely
  • Desire to continually expand solution knowledge base and learn new products
  • Leadership qualities that will enable the path to grow as an individual contributor and/or team leader


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent experience
  • MBA with Concentration in Finance desired and/or  5+ years of relevant Insurance Expertise (preferably at an SAP customer)
  • 7+ Years of Professional Experience (Hands-on configuration and/or implementation experience of SAP Finance or related solutions preferred) 
  • Strong Presentation Skills/Public Speaking, with the innate ability to position Value Metrics, Customer Stories and Competitive Wedges. Ability to Develop Creative Content (Presentations, Videos, etc.) 
  • Natural Poise & Charisma in front of both small and large audiences Strong Executive Presence
